Branson’s Nantucket is located just a few short miles from all of the excitement of Branson, Missouri. Located in the mountains overlooking the beautiful Table Rock Lake, this upscale luxury resort has a view that is unmatched in the area. This resort is also eco-friendly, and updated with all of the more up to date fixtures and appliances. Branson’s Nantucket has several different kind of groups that pass through on a daily basis, and no matter what their individual interests, Silver Dollar City never disappoints any visitors. Silver Dollar City is a family friendly theme park that runs pretty much the whole year. This amusement park is located near Marvel Cave, which is one of the oldest tourist attractions located in the Ozarks. This cave has been visited by tourists since the late 19th century.
Silver Dollar City was actually developed in the 1950’s by a family that wanted to create a town that was centered on authenticity of the era, and preservation. The city started with 5 buildings and a Hatfield and McCoy show, and now encompasses 10 districts and many demonstrations. On top of all of the activities there are also many rides and attractions. What once was a town of five buildings, has known grown to a huge amusement park that is love by all visitors.
Branson’s Nantucket also enjoys telling guests about the several famous ties that Hollywood has to Silver Dollar City. The creator of the Beverly Hillbillies decided to write the script for the show after visiting Silver Dollar City, and the cast even went to Branson to shoot some episodes. Then, Silver Dollar City made national news again when it was referred to as one of the top holiday events in the country, for “An Old Time Christmas”. Always remaining an old timey place, this attraction is still exciting enough to captivate thousands of new people every year. Branson’s Nantucket loves recommending this attraction, and guests should definitely pay it a visit when they visit Branson.
