The city started with 5 buildings and a Hatfield and McCoy show, and now encompasses 10 districts and many demonstrations. On top of all of the activities there are also many rides and attractions. What once was a town of five buildings, has known grown to a huge amusement park that is love by all visitors.
Branson’s Nantucket also enjoys telling guests about the several famous ties that Hollywood has to Silver Dollar City. The creator of the Beverly Hillbillies decided to write the script for the show after visiting Silver Dollar City, and the cast even went to Branson to shoot some episodes. Then, Silver Dollar City made national news again when it was referred to as one of the top holiday events in the country, for “An Old Time Christmas”. Always remaining an old timey place, this attraction is still exciting enough to captivate thousands of new people every year.
